The third annual Hawk Bowl will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 5:30 pm at the stadium. This is a fun event where juniors and seniors will compete in a light- hearted flag football game. Admission into the Hawk Bowl is $5 or 5 food items. Shirts to advertise and support this year's event will be on sale at the high school during lunch periods on 11/15, 11/18 and 11/19. The cost of the shirt is $10. Any remaining shirts will be sold at the event.
The Corning-Painted Post Competition Band once again comes home from NYSFBC State Championships with more history!
The band placed 4th out of 9 in an incredibly competitive Large School 2 Division. This placement matched their highest placement in the LS2 Division ever, matching 2019 and 2021.
The Competition Band scored a 86.95 which is their HIGHEST SCORE AT STATES EVER, besting their 2021 score of 86.55

The CPPHS Homecoming dance is on Friday, October 18th from 8:30 - 11:30. Tickets are 10$ payable at the door, and only CPPHS students are allowed.
Our Sister Cities Italian students arrived today! - Nine students and two teachers from San Giovanni, Italy arrived in Corning and will spend the next week with nine families from our high school. They will learn what life is like in Corning and then our students will head to Italy in February!
