We’re excited to share that we’ve adopted a new communication platform called ParentSquare to help us keep you better informed and more connected with your school community. ParentSquare is replacing Remind and this will be the last message you will receive via Remind.
With ParentSquare, you’ll receive all school and classroom messages in one place and translated into your preferred language—whether by email, text, app, or web. You’ll also be able to:
Stay up to date on news and events
Receive attendance notifications
Receive emergency / snow day / delay notifications

Juneteenth, observed on June 19, is an official public holiday in New York State.
In October 2020, the Gov. officially marked Juneteenth as a state public holiday, several months after the Gov. had issued an executive order recognizing Juneteenth as a holiday for state employees.
The new state law celebrates Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, which celebrates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. On June 19, 1865, a Union Army general announced the federal orders in Texas even though President Abraham Lincoln had officially outlawed slavery in Texas and the other Confederate states almost two and half years earlier.
This year, Friday, June 19, 2026 CPP Schools will be closed in honor of Juneteenth.
