Retired CPP Business teacher/Dean Mr. Mike Sheffer recently presented to CPPHS Business classes on the topic of financial literacy. He talked to students about how financial decisions they make now can affect their future, understanding debt, student loans, credit and investing. He took them through an app-based (Troutwood) exercise on their phones that showed how investing at a young age can result in financial security down the road.

To ensure we are creating the safest environment we can, we will continue to implement a “No Re-Entry” plan for the winter season. In addition, we will ask all students, unaccompanied by an adult, to sit in the student section at our basketball contests. These changes will help us manage student and family traffic coming and going from our facilities. The “No Re-Entry” plan will be in effect for all contests held at the High School Field House and the Middle School Gymnasium during the winter season. Our Hawks Athletic Advisory Committee (HAAC) will continue to review these safety protocols after each season.
