• Alert: This is a message from the CPP School District Transportation Department: Due to the State of Emergency in the Town of Lindley, The Town and School District have decided to keep buses off of all Town Roads until they are deemed safe for travel. If you are a Town of Lindley parent with a child or children in our schools, and you wish to keep your child home tomorrow, Monday, September 24th, the excuse will be marked as a LEGAL excuse. There will be no penalty for not attending school. We are offering an alternative though, for Lindley parents who are able to still travel and wish to send their children to school. Due to this situation, our Buses have been ordered to stay off Town Roads. We are able to travel County Roads. The Corning-Painted Post Bus Garage has developed alternative routes in the Town for pickup and drop off starting Monday, September 24th until further notice. The Director of Transportation and his Staff are personally calling all affected families this afternoon with information for pickup and drop off locations. Please be on the lookout for a phone call from the transportation department today or early this evening with information on your child's route. Again, only affected families will be called. The Town of Lindley, Steuben County Emergency Management and the School District will continue communicate any additional changes and/ or updates. 5:45pm Update: We've attempted to contact all affected families in Lindley. If we were unable to reach you, please contact Leland Harris Inc. Bus Garage beginning at 6am tomorrow at (607) 523-8867 to get transportation information or if you have any questions.
