STEM Day Connects Classroom Learning with Local Organizations
In collaboration with the Career Development Council Inc., SUNY Corning Community College hosted STEM Day on its Spencer Hill campus late last month. It was the first time CCC has hosted the event in person since the fall of 2019. Among the attendees were CPPHS Biology students of Ms. Newman. She said, “ It was an amazing opportunity for our young scientists!”
Students from across the region participated in interactive workshops, hosted by SUNY CCC faculty and staff, as well as industry professionals from local organizations. STEM day sponsors included the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and The Finger Lakes Inc., Career Development Council Inc., and the Corning Foundation.
