Corning-Painted Post High School

The CPPHS Corning Hawks Trap Club had a really good 2022 season. Head Coach Brent McLean said the team finished 3rd in their conference and sent 10 out of 13 team members to the NYS Tournament, in Syracuse, in June. At the tournament, freshman Gracee Work achieved a 2nd place podium finish for Top Gun Girls Varsity and the team overall finished 19th out of 45 schools. The team also sent 3 team members, Jake Curreri (Sr), Collin McLean (Jr), and Tully Fratarcangelo (9th) to the USA Clay Target High School National Championship Tournament in Mason, Michigan in early July where all three shot well, but missed the cut for the finals round. Coach McLean said, "We congratulate our team on their successful season and look forward to next year!"
