Weekly Message to Families

Homecoming Dance will be held tonight, Saturday, October 5th, from 7:00pm - 10:00pm in the gym.  The dance is open to all 9th - 12th grade students, and admission is $10 at the door.  Please note that student parking, student drop-off, and student pick-up occur at the Aisne Street entrance at the gym end of the building.  This event is very special to our students. Safety is always a priority.  As we do for all of our school dances, all students will be required to submit to a breathalyzer test in order to be admitted to the dance. If the breathalyzer should indicate alcohol use, a student’s parents will be contacted immediately and school consequences given in accordance to our school policies. It is mandatory that all students submit to this test. If any student should refuse, the following will occur: The student will not be allowed to attend the dance and the student’s parents/guardian will be called to pick the student up.  We want each of our dances to be a positive and memorable event for our students. There have been some past school activities that students have attended under the influence of alcohol; we are trying to eliminate those occurrences. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
