The Corning Youth Summer Resource Program is an organization founded by high school students Ethan Kang, Jonathan Morse, Albert Song and Luke Speicher for their International Baccalaureate CAS project. It is an organization that seeks to connect community resources to their target audience and promote summer educational experiences for the youth of our community.
Luke said, "In the Corning area, we are blessed to have a multitude of available opportunities, yet they do not receive the attention nor participation they deserve. The primary cause of this disconnect is due to a lack of awareness. The Corning Youth Summer Resource Program's mission is to connect these two integral bodies."
He added, "Our solution to this is creating a website, acting as a 'one-stop-shop' for community members to reach out and discover summer opportunities."
