The fifth graders operate a school store.
The store is open on Wednesday, Thursday, and
Friday mornings from 8:50 – 9:05 a.m. All
students at Calvin U. Smith School are welcome
to shop. The Cougar School Store offers a
variety of items which may change periodically,
depending upon student need and request.
Generally, the following items will be
available:
Specialty items
such as mechanical pencils, pen and pencil
combinations, sharpeners and holiday items
will be advertised on the morning announcements.
Parents are encouraged to speak to their
children about making responsible choices. Due
to limited time, children may not be able to
make multiple purchases on busy days. The
students who operate the store will be happy to
consider expanding the inventory to include
additional items. Please let us know how we are
