Messages From Our Principal:
Seniors
· Graduation Rehearsal will be held on Thursday, June 20th starting in the auditorium at West High at 9:00AM. All students participating in graduation must attend. Following the rehearsal at WHS, we will then hold graduation rehearsal at the stadium. A bus will be provided to and from the new parking lot at East High for seniors who wish to utilize our transportation. The bus will leave East High at 8:45AM and will return to the stadium for the second part of rehearsal.
· Graduation is scheduled for 7:00PM on Friday, June 21st at the stadium. In the event that weather forces graduation to be inside, tickets will be required for graduation in the West High gym. Six tickets will be distributed to each senior at Graduation Rehearsal. Seniors need to report for graduation by 6:00PM and be lined up by 6:30PM.
· A Baccalaureate service is being held by members of the community on Thursday, June 20 at 7:00PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Corning , located on the corner of First & Pine. Students who would like to participate should wear their graduation gowns but no caps/hats. If you have any questions, you may contact Bonita Coates at 742-1737.
Daily Announcements
- GST BOCES is offering driver education this summer. The cost is $395 per student. Students interested can pick up a registration form in the guidance office.There are 23 total spots, and it is first come first serve. The dates are July 1st through August 12th, four days a week.
- Any Junior who may be interested in earning more incentives for their senior year. If you are interested in selling boxes of candy please see Mrs. Busch, your class advisor in the Guidance Office or any of your class officers. Incentives include a free prom ticket and free cap and gown.
- Regents Review calendars are posted on the Guidance Hallway Bulletin Board.
