Intramurals is a weekly program of sports and recreational activities offered to middle school students throughout the year. Our goal is to increase opportunities for students, promote physical activity and offer positive socialization among participants.
Eligibility Intramurals is offered to girls and boys in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Participation in intramurals is a privilege, so all policies and procedures must be followed in order to participate. Participation will require a signed permission slip that will be given to students during Physical Education class.
Schedule Four intramural sessions will be offered throughout the year.
Session I: October 3rd to November 10th
Session II: November 28th to January 12th
Session III: January 23rd to March 9th
Session IV: March 27th to May 11th
When will activities be offered? After school 3:15-4:30 pm
6th grade: Monday and Wednesday 3:15-4:30pm. 7th& 8th grades: Tuesday and Thursday 3:15-4:30pm.
Transportation Transportation will be made available to students participating in intramurals. Students may choose to take an activity bus that will depart at 4:30 pm and transport students to the following designated drop-off locations: Gang Mills/Lindley, City of Corning Northside/Hornby, Coopers Plains/Meads Creek Road, State Route 414/Beaver Dams, City of Corning Southside/Gibson/East Corning or South Corning/Caton.
