Rigor
All C-PP students will demonstrate mastery of the fundamental skills and competencies essential for success in a rapidly changing world. These include:
- Basic Skills - Reading, writing, listening, speaking, use of mathematical principles to solve problems
- Thinking Skills - problem solving, experimenting, analysis, reasoning
- Personal Qualities - self-management, planning, organizing, demonstrating responsible behavior
- Interpersonal Skills - teamwork, cooperation, working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Managing Technology and Information - using different technologies, accessing and using information from multiple resources
All of the programs C-PP is implementing- from the International Baccalaureate Programs at the secondary level to the new Elementary Reading Program - are designed to support increased Rigor for all District students.
