Science Comes Alive through Community Partnerships
C-PP's dedicated staff reinforce Science lessons by engaging students in hands-on learning. Experiments, guest visits and field trips help students to see how their classroom learning applies to daily living, careers and their favorite hobbies, too! Students at every level benefit from activities that add fun to their Science learning.
The Science and Discovery Center
The Mobile Lab Program and Family Science Nights deliver Science fun to all eight District elementary schools.
Partners in Education
Corning Incorporated volunteers give lectures and guide experiments in fifth and sixth grade classes throughout the District.
Field Trips
Popular regional sites often customize visits to be relevant to curricular themes:
Spencer Crest Nature Center
Tanglewood Nature Center
Corning Museum of Glass
Distance Learning
