College Credit for
C-PP High School Coursework
C-PP students now have access to more college-level courses and choices than ever before. In 2008-2009, the number of higher-level classes will expand to nearly 40.
Choosing one or more of these courses can give C-PP students a competitive edge in the college search and selection process. In addition, many colleges will reward students for their work by exempting them from a required course, awarding credit hours, accepting transfer credit or by placing the student in a higher-level course.

East and West High Schools offer college-level courses to students in numerous subject areas and at varying levels of difficulty. Currently, higher level courses are offered to EHS and WHS students through the following programs:
In some cases, careful planning can optimize a student's chances for earning college credit or consideration. Ask a C-PP guidance counselor, IB coordinator or course instructor if enrolling in more than one of C-PP'ss college-level course offerings makes sense.
Every college and university has a unique policy and process for awarding pre-earned and transfer credit through these programs. It takes determination and persistence to secure the college credit for which your high school student may be eligible.
