Every College Has a Unique Policy and Pocess
Each college and university has its own unique policy and process for awarding course credit. Even policies within a college can differ based on such variables as student scores, field of study and departmental recommendation. Sometimes, an institution will not offer a student course-for-course credit in their intended major field of study; however, elective credit may be offered for that course. It is important to note that individual colleges and universities - not C-PP, International Baccalaureate or the College Board - grant course or transfer credit. Because it varies from institution to institution, C-PP students and their families will have to seek out the credit policy of selected colleges or universities to ensure requirements are met.
