Each school in the District has an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) unit made up of parents, teachers and members of the community who work on behalf of students and the schools. District PTAs are affiliated with state and national PTAs, and work together with them to strengthen public education through parent and community involvement. PTA Council meetings are held monthly. 2007-08 PTA Council Officers
