Food Service Menus and Pricing
Monthly Lunch Menus
Breakfast menus include cereal, bread items (bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc.), 100% fruit juice and milk. Full price breakfast is $1.30; reduced price is $.25. Lunch menus change daily and include up to five choices. To comply with nutrition regulations, each lunch includes the following food items: meat or meat alternate (such as cheese, eggs, peanut butter, etc.), from one to three cereal/grain foods, fruit, vegetable and milk (8 oz). Students can choose all five items or as few as three. All reduced-price lunches are $.25. Milk choices are available for $.50 they include low-fat & non-fat milk. For students with documented allergies lactose free milk alternatives are available.
Posted July, 2011: A message about the lunch price
Effective July 1, 2011, section 205 of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 requires school food authorities (SFA’s) currently charging, on average, less than $2.46 for a paid lunch to obtain this level of average compensation per lunch. The law caps the required increase in the average paid lunch price at 10 cents in any year. CPP Area School District has increased by the minimum $0.05. This does not affect the free and reduced lunch program availability in any way. Thank you for your understanding.
