Enhanced Academics
In keeping with our vision to be a model for educational excellence, the Corning-Painted Post Area School District is committed to improving instruction and learning for all students so our graduates leave our schools with the skills and abilities they need to succeed in today's world. A number of District programs are specifically designed to improve and enhance classroom instruction, thus helping to provide a level of rigor appropriate to each student, in areas that are relevant to lifelong learning.
- College Level Choices
C-PP offers a variety of college-level courses for hard working high school students. Find out more about the options available, and the process for earning college credit for those courses successfully completed during high school.
- Elementary Enrichment Program
The Elementary Enrichment Program is for qualifying Gifted and Talented students in 2nd through 5th grades. The students have the opportunity to meet one day a week in their own school in small groups over the course of one semester. The program is three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and the students have enrichment for one and a half hours.
- District Science Fair
An annual Science Fair is held in the spring each year, and is open to all District students.
- Donovan Academy
Not a building or an institution, the Donovan Academy is a unique concept of resources and programs open to all students who attend District schools.
