Community Use of School Facilities:
The District welcomes use of school facilities by non-profit community groups, when buildings are not in use for school related purposes. To request use of District buildings, contact the Facilities Usage Assistant, Suzy Webster, at (607) 936-3704, Ext. 1098 or email@example.com. In some cases, a fee may be charged to cover school costs (custodian, heat, electricity, etc.) when facilities are used beyond normal working hours.
The Corning-Painted Post Area School District maintains copies of their Asbestos Management Plan in the District Offices. The Management Plan is available for review in the District Offices during regular business hours. These documents contain information about asbestos inspections, response actions, regularly scheduled surveillance and re-inspections. New York State Education Law Section 409-H, effective July 1, 2001, requires all public and non-public elementary and secondary schools to provide written notification to all persons in parental relation, faculty and staff regarding the potential use of pesticides periodically throughout the school year. The Corning-PaintedPostAreaSchool District is required to maintain a list of persons in parental relation, faculty, and staff who wish to receive 48-hour prior written notification of certain pesticide applications. If you wish to receive notification, complete the insert and return to the Buildings and Grounds Department at 165 Charles Street, Painted Post, NY 14870 or contact Buildings and Grounds at (607) 654-2710.

“Notice is hereby given that the annual fire inspection for 2017 of the school buildings of Corning-Painted Post school district for fire hazards which might endanger the lives of students, teachers, employees therein, has been completed and the report thereof is available at the office of the School Director of Facilities at 165 Charles Street for inspection by all interested persons.”
Public NOTICE: July 14, 2017
The Corning-Painted Post School District has successfully completed the inspection of all schools and buildings in accordance with asbestos laws and is in full compliance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act.
