DP Courses for Certification C-PP students may opt to take one or more Diploma Program courses without pursuing a full IB diploma. This option is available to students who wish to be challenged in a particular subject, without the additional rigors of the full DP. |

Students who successfully complete any DP course and earn a passing grade on the final examination administered by International Baccalaureate North America (IBNA) will earn a certificate in that course that translates to college credit at many institutions of higher education. In May 2007, East and West high students sat for 390 IB examinations. The following table lists the IB courses available for the 2007-2008 school year: |
